Suicide Incident in Tigbao

TIGBAO, Zamboanga Del Sur (April 26, 2018) – The suicide incident transpired at Purok 3, Barangay Busol, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:40 AM on April 25, 2018.

The victim was identified as Danny Boy Pilapil Pelayo, 21 years old, single, operator of Mana Rice Mill of Purok 7, Barangay Nilo, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur and resident of said place.

Investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident; the victim went to the house of his brother in law Jonilo Maano Perez at Purok 7, Barangay Nilo, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur on April 24, 2018 at about 8:00pm.

The victim and his brother in law were having drinking session thereat, while on the course of their drinking session, the latter (brother in law) confronted the former (victim) about the health of their horse, which was entrusted by the victim. The victim replied and insisted that he take care of the horse.

The victim cried and left the area and proceeded to the house of his sister Vicenta Quimbo located at Purok 3, Barangay Busol, Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Unfortunately, on the following day of April 25 at about 5:00am, Vergelio Cejas Y Villarobia, found the victim hanging at the tree at Purok 3, Barangay Busol, Tigbao of this province.

The victim committed suicide by using stranded electrical wire and tied on his neck.

The Investigator on case Spo4 Alberto O. Capadngan said that the initial motive of the incident believed to be a depression. The personnel of

8 Individuals Held for Illegal Gambling

TIGBAO, Zamboanga del Sur (April 23, 2018) – 8 persons were arrested by the joint PNP operating troops of Tigbao MPS together with Provincial Anti-Illegal Gambling Special Operation Task Group (PAIGSOTG) conducted police operation (Anti-Illegal Gambling Operation) at Purok 7, Barangay Maragang of this municipality Thursday at 11:00am.

The operation resulted to the arrest of eight (8) personalities who were caught in the act engaged in the illegal horse fighting. The 8 individual personalities identified namely: Charlemagne Berbanio Y Traya alias “Ecloy”, 44 years old, married, a resident of Purok 7, Brgy. Maragang, Tigbao, who acted as promoter; Lorenso Gaston Y Albatera, 42 years old, married, residing at Purok 6, Brgy. Lacupayan, Tigbao, ZDS, the horse owner; Jeffrey Jacob Y Gallegos, 24 years old, single, residing at Purok 5, Brgy. Gatub, Kumalarang, horse owner; Abdulwahab Pangulima Y Balimbingan, 45 years old, married, residing at Poblacion Kumalarang, as the referee; Crisvic Ogoc Y Gabule, 32 years old, married, residing at Brgy. Malasik, Dumalinao, - bettor; Elvin Ian Rabe Y Dela Victoria, residing at Purok Durian, Brgy.  Malasik, Dumalinao, Reden Abuga-A Y Pabayos, 49 years old, married also residing at Brgy. Malasik, Dumalinao, - bettor; and Ricky Camporedondo Y Pagasian, 41 years old, married a resident of Purok 1, Brgy. Gatub, Kumalarang, - bettor.

The operating team confiscated Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000.00) as bet money, whistle, tape measure, two (2) male fighting horses and one (1) female horse.

Arrested persons and evidences recovered are now under the custody of Tigbao MPS for proper documentation and disposition. Tigbao MPS case investigator PO3 Mark Errol P Templa is now conducting follow-up investigation for filing appropriate criminal charges against the suspect.

Unidentified cadaver found in Tigbao

TIGBAO, Zamboanga Del Sur (April 20, 2018) – An unidentified dead body was found Friday at about 6:00am in Purok 4, Barangay Lacupayan of this municipality.

The unidentified male cadaver was lying in a prone position at the shoulder of the road. He sustained wound on his head, contusion/bruises circling on his neck. Description of the human cadaver with mushroom haircut, artificially blonde, with tattoos quote “ Trivial Tattoo on the right shoulder, right arm wrist, Marlou figure tattoo at the left side of his body, rose, rosary, spade symbol tattoo on the right portion of his body”.

The victim has no identification cards, no slippers, wearing black sweatshirt, black long pants, aging 20 to 25 years old, 5’0 to 5’2” in height. Tigbao MPS then requested the SOCO Crime Laboratory, Camp Abelon, Pagadian City for proper processing of the crime scene with the presence of Dr. Grayvimin S. Figueras, Municipal Health Officer of Tigbao Rural Health Unit. After the processing of the scene there was no pieces of evidence recovered.

Tigbao MPS case investigator PO2 Christian Harris Jakiri B. Carcallas is now conducting follow-up investigation to identify the identity of the victim as well as the cause of death and the weapon used. 7 person injured in Tigbao vehicular Traffic Accident

TIGBAO, Zamboanga del Sur (April 1, 2018) – 7 person boarded a passenger Van were injured in a vehicular accident transpired at Barangay Lacupayan in this municipality on Saturday March 31 at 1:15 pm.

Initial investigation conducted by Tigbao Municipal Police Station disclosed that the passenger Van Nissan, color silver driven by Roland Balansag Labiaga, 57 years old, married a resident of 0102 Datoc St., Pagadian City.

The van traversing the National Highway came from Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay bound for Pagadian City. Upon reaching the aforementioned place of accident the vehicle lapsed the under construction one lane Deorox Bridge and crashed at the right lane shouldering and fell down beyond the concrete canal that resulted in the said incident.

The seven (7) passengers on board sustained slight physical injuries were brought to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center in Brgy. Dao, Pagadian City.

The victims were identified namely as Dolores Hugo Busmion 83 years old, ROSITA Mirral Busmion 65 years old, Ruben Montilla Dayday 49 years old, Mergie Ybanez Entia 44 years old, Rechie Sagga Sumusao 25 years old, Jerson Jimenez Codino 21 years old, and Princess Lazaga Rivera, 18 years old.

The vehicle incurred damages on the left side portion and was still at the place of incident waiting to be towed and the pertinent documents temporarily on custody of Tigbao MPS for proper disposition.
